Insurance, Covers and Waivers
Damage Cover-Comfort Package (Always Included).
Comfort Coverage (CDW)
If the car’s bodywork gets damaged, the most you’ll pay towards repairs covered by the Collision Damage Waiver is the damage excess. This cover is only valid if you follow the terms of the rental agreement. It doesn’t cover other parts of the car (e.g. glass, wheels, interior, roof, or undercarriage), or charges (e.g. for towing or off-road time), or anything in the car (e.g. child seats, GPS devices or personal belongings).
Third-Party Liability (TPL)
This covers the driver’s liability for injuries and property damage which are covered by the policy. It does not cover injuries to the driver or damage to the rental car. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement.
Theft Cover
Theft Protection (TP)
If the car is stolen, the most you’ll pay towards replacement costs covered by the policy is the theft excess. This cover is only valid if you stick to the terms of the rental agreement.

Valeting Fee
If the renter returns the vehicle and it requires more than the usual and standard cleaning, in order for the car rental company to restore it to its pre-rental condition a Valeting Fee from 15 up to 80 euros will be applied. Always allowing the normal use of the vehicle.

Customers are responsible for all toll fees, congestion charges, speeding tickets, parking fines & traffic fines - and all associated administration costs.

Office is open daily from 07:00 to 22:00
Pick up or delivery out of working hours costs 40 EUR extra. If your reservation is done through our website reservation platform the cost is automatically added to the summary.

We accept payments with credit, debit and prepaid cards of Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners, Discover and cash.
American Express card is not accepted for payment.
You are required to have either a Credit Card or a Debit Card for Deposit.
The main driver must be in possession of either a Credit Card or a Debit Card in their name when picking up the car. The Card must have enough available funds to cover the excess/deposit amount. If the customer is using a debit card, the amount will be taken; if using a credit card, the amount will merely be ‘blocked’. Either way, the deposit will be returned after the rental, as long as all conditions have been met. The Card will also be required to pay for local fees, extra equipment and anything purchased additionally at the car hire counter.
Cash and American Express card is not accepted as an excess/deposit cover.

Payment Methods
Payment of the rental can by using a credit card, debit card, prepaid cards, PayPal, mobile app, cash, or bank transfer. American Express will not be accepted. Any card used for payment must be under the name of the renter and driver of the vehicle as mentioned at the rental agreement.

License Requirements
Driving License
When picking the car up, the main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a full driving license in their name. All drivers must have held their driving license for at least 12 months.
- Domestic Renters: Greek citizens need a valid driving license issued in Greece.
- EU Renters: If you are from the EU and picking up in the EU, you only need your country’s driving license, except if your driving license is not in Latin script. If it is not in Latin script then you need an International Driver’s License as well as your country’s driving license.
- For customers of the following countries, the country's driving license is also accepted if it is written in Latin script:

International Driving Permit
- An International Driving Permit is required if only the driving license is in a language other than English, along with the renter’s country of residence driving license.

- Passport or ID is required.
Identity Cards
Domestic renters and EU nationals will need to present a valid national identity card or a passport at the rental counter as photographic identification.
Non EU nationals will need to present a valid passport in Latin script at the rental counter as proof of identity. Identity is not required but it is recommended.
All documents must have been issued at least 6 months before pick-up.

Voucher / eVoucher
When you pick your car up, the counter staff will need to see your voucher, which you receive when booking is confirmed.
Your voucher proves that the car is booked in the main driver’s name.
Age Requirements
Age Limits
Minimum age limit is 21.
Maximum age limit is 75.
Drivers, age 21 to 24 and age 72 to 75 will need to pay an extra fee of 7 EUR per day up to a maximum of 70 EUR per rental.
Beepit age-related charges and restrictions will apply to all additional drivers.

If you wish to make a last-minute reservation or a reservation for less than 2 days rental please contact us.
Flight Details
Flight Details – If you are arriving by plane. You can tell us your flight number when you book your car. To add it to a booking you've already made, click ‘View or Modify’ at the ‘make a reservation’ field on our website. Please make sure you enter your flight number and not any other number the airline may have sent you, such as a confirmation number. We cannot be held responsible if a problem with your flight stops you from picking up your car.
Deposits, Excess and Cover

Deposit / Excess Amounts
When you pick your car up a security deposit up to the excess amount will be required. The deposit will be returned after the rental, as long as all conditions have been met. The deposit will be unblocked from the renter’s card up to 15 working days.
The car has a damage deposit up to the excess amount.
The car has a theft deposit up to the excess amount.
Due to fluctuating foreign exchange rates and other possible banking charges, Beepit cannot be held responsible for any difference between the amount paid and the amount refunded.
Once the rental is completed, customers need to return to the rental office to ask for a refund of the deposit. The deposit has to be re-paid against the same payment card originally used. In case that a credit card is used the deposit amount will automatically release within 15-20 working days.

SUPER PREMIUM
If you purchase the Super Premium Package before you pick the car up, you waive your liability for:
- Charges for damage to the rental car’s exterior or mechanical components, including:
- Bodywork, roof
- windscreen, windows, mirrors
- wheels, tires, hubcaps
- engine, clutch, battery
- locks
- ‘immobilization’ charges (for loss of revenue while the car is being repaired and cannot be rented out)
- roadside assistance charges resulting from a breakdown or accident
- car hire company administration fees related to any of these points
*Please note that the Super Premium cover is limited to a single incident or accident that may occur during the duration of your rental.
No cover package (Comfort, Premium, and Super Premium) will waive liability in respect of:
- Repairs or other services not approved by the car hire company.
- Cleaning charges or damage to the car’s interior (unless caused by a collision).
- Damages caused as a result of a breach of the rental agreements’ terms and conditions.
- In case of any accident, if the renter does not inform the car rental company in time.
- The renter is not covered if he insists driving with a flat tire or with the overheat indicator on.
- Loss or theft of luggage and or personal items from the vehicle.
- Parking tickets or fines, traffic violations and such.
- Costs due to refueling with the wrong fuel type.
- Expenses for lost, stolen or damaged car keys.
- Expenses for lost, stolen or damaged car documents.
- Expenses due to negligence - empty battery.
- Expenses due to damage to the car’s interior.
- Costs of lost equipment (spare tire, tire repair kit, bunker shelves, etc.).
- Expenses due to damage to additional equipment.
- Expenses due to car misuse.
- Expenses due to ignoring instruction for car maintenance stated in the cars service book.
- Expenses to the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Costs of car extraction from inaccessible areas (e.g. extraction from mud due to traveling outside regular road infrastructure).
- Expenses incurred by off road driving such (ex. Balos/Gramvousa, agiofaraggo). An Off-road driving penalty of 200€ will be applicable to any customer that has reportedly used the car in such a way.
- Expenses incurred by car racing or cars participation in sport events.
- Expenses due to overburdening the car with people or cargo.
- Damage costs caused by a person not stated in the contract as the main or additional driver.
- Costs occurred in cases when the main driver or additional driver stated in the rental contract does not have a valid driver’s license or has a ban on driving motor vehicles.
- Damage caused as a result of fire, acts of God, snow, hail, flood, riots, terrorism, radiation or vandalism.
- Damaged windscreen wipers or locks, loss or theft of outside parts of the vehicle without a police record, damage costs incurred by usage of roof carriers or luggage on carriers, damage caused by improper handling of luggage and or putting cargo or luggage on the roof, hood, etc., as well as expenses caused by ignoring the sound and visual warnings of the vehicle.
- Damages to the glasses and the tires of the vehicle.
- The lessee is fully liable to the costs deriving from damaged undercarriage parts of the car. In such cases collision damage waiver is not applicable.
- Damages occurred to the vehicles as a result of driver’s negligence, breach of traffic violation or driver tested positive for drugs or alcohol, insurance or waiver are no longer applicable. The lessee will be liable for the full damage cost.
- In the event of traffic law violation, negligence and any violation of the terms and conditions, the lessor has the right not to provide a replacement vehicle or refund the rent corresponding to the unused days.
- In case the vehicle is immobilized due to customer’s fault, negligence, loss of key, violation of the traffic law or any other violation of terms and conditions is subject to the towing service 150€ + 1,5€ per km.
- In case the vehicle is immobilized due to loss of the key, replacement of the key, broken key or battery discharged by renter’s negligence, they will be subject to the recovery service 50€ + 1,5€ per km.
- Damages caused as a result of a breach of the rental agreements’ terms and conditions.
At the pick-up time the appointed agent of the lessor should document all the visible damages of the vehicle in the rental agreement. The lessee must be present during the process and is considered as equally responsible for the correct documentation of the damages.
The renter and any additional driver(s) herby undertake to ensure that the vehicle is always locked when unattended, and to take all reasonable steps to prevent loss of/ or damage to the vehicle, or its tires, tools accessories, equipment and/or additional items hired and/or the vehicles contents.
In each of the above cases, the renter authorizes the car rental company to deduct the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle, from the excess amount. Also, in case the cost is higher than the excess amount, the renter authorizes the lessor to charge the additional amount from the same credit/debit card.

Administration Charge
Damage to the car will be charged during the drop off process and will incur a Damage Administration fee of 50€ on top of the amount deducted from the excess. In addition to the administration fee, a loss of profit derived from the inability to rent the vehicle before fixing the damage, known as “loss of use” charge might apply as per the damage severity and evaluation.
Also, in addition to the amount of speeding fines, parking fines or any other
fine in respect of road traffic violation and/or parking charges incurred as a result of parking the vehicle illegally, an administration fee of 15 EUR will be applied
Fuel Policy Options
Fuel Policies –
- SAME TO SAME: All vehicles need to be returned at the same fuel level as it was when delivered. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel then the lessee will become liable for the cost of the additional fuel and will also be subjected to a refueling fee of 20€. In the opposite case where the vehicle is returned with more fuel, the lessor will not return any fuel or money relating to the additional fuel to the lessee.

Ferry Travel Policy:
Ferry travel is strictly prohibited unless prior written authorization is obtained from the company. An additional fee of 60 euros will apply if permission is granted. Failure to comply with this policy will result in further charges.

Any additional services will be subject to any applicable sales taxes and location fees.

Booking Agreement
To make sure you understand the rules and laws about driving hire cars at home and abroad, it’s essential you read the Terms & Conditions in full before you leave to pick your car up.
In particular, please make sure you know what documents and other paperwork you must take with you (e.g. driving license, forms of identification, and payment cards) and what you’ll need to pay for at the car hire counter. If you don’t have everything you need, Beepit may not let you pick the car up.
Beepit is responsible to provide the lessee with a vehicle that shares similar attributes to the vehicle booked online.

When you pick your car up, Beepit will need you to sign a rental agreement. Please make sure you read it carefully – and if anything is not clear, discuss it with our staff before you sign.

Information Regarding Exchange Rates and Fees
please note that we cannot be held responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates or any fee your bank or credit card issuer may charge. So the amount that appears on your credit card statement may differ from the amount you saw when you made your booking. Equally, should we credit your account with any money, we will refund the exact amount initially charged.
Rental Price Calculation
Prices are based on the pick-up and drop-off times and dates that you agree before your rental starts. If you pick the car up any later or bring it back any earlier, you will not receive a refund for unused time.
Car Hire Company Important Information
Company Rules
In case of an accident or any other incident the driver and renter must follow the steps below:
- Call at Beepit Customer Support Center at (0030) 6943 492222
- Call the police at 100
- Do not accept any responsibility for the accident until the police officers present an official document regarding your accident. A police accident report will be requested from Beepit.
- Take photos of the accident and keep notes of names and the number on license plates of the other vehicle.
- Within 24 hours you must complete an incident report that will be sent to you and then forward it to info@beepit.gr
In the event of a breakdown or mechanical difficulties, you must call the Customer Support Center immediately.
Vehicle replacement - If the renter is not responsible for the breakdown or accident a replacement car or a repairment will be done within 24 hours.
Lost Keys - In case the vehicle is immobilized due to loss, replacement or key breaking the customer will be subject to the recovery service 50€ plus 1,5€ per km (both ways).
Seatbelt - Whatever country you’re driving in, driver and passengers must wear seatbelts if fitted, wherever they’re sitting in the car.
No-Smoking Policy - All types of Smoking are prohibited in the vehicles. If any physical evidence of smoking is found (ash/butts in the vehicle, cigarette burns, etc.), or if a smoky odor exists the lessee will be assessed a smoking fee of 25€.
Child seats and boosters Installation - Child seats and boosters are installed by the renter and driver of the vehicle at his own risk, during the vehicle pick-up process.
Pet Policy - Customers are allowed to carry one small household pet within a carrier and take full responsibility of any dirtiness or possible damages. Pet hair, soiling and/or damage caused by animals will result in an extra charge.
Car Category, Places and Time Changes - At pick-up, the customer may choose to take a different car, rather than the one reserved for them. If they do, an additional charge might applied. If the customer wishes to change the pick-up or drop-off place or time, an extra charge may occur.
Rental Extension - In case the renter wishes to extend the rental he should inform us in time, via email at reservations@beepit.gr or by phone at the calling center (0030) 2813015014. Additional charges might applied if the agreed returned time and date change.
GDPR- Compliant Notice:
- Any data collected will only be used for specific purposes, including vehicle recovery, safety, monitoring driving patterns and geofence violation.
- The data stored are used in case of a breach of our terms and conditions.
- The vehicle's data will be handled securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
- You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time.
Delay of Vehicle Return
There will be a 59 minutes grace period for the return of all vehicles. If the car is returned after this time, without any notice, the customer will have to pay:
- The Late Penalty fee of 25€
- 5€ per delay hour.
Customers also need to be aware that the vehicle's cover package will no longer be valid and the customer will be responsible for any damages. The authorities will also be aware that the vehicle is not legally rented.
Cancellations, No Shows & Amendments

Cancellation of Fully Prepaid Bookings
- If you cancel 48 hours or more before your rental is due to start, the money you’ve paid will be refunded.
- If you cancel between the 48 hours before pick-up, the money you’ve paid will be refunded, minus the cost of a 3 days rental.
- If you had booked the car for less than 3 days, there won’t be any additional charge, but you won’t receive any refund.
- If you fail to turn up at the agreed time and date, and/or to provide all the necessary documentation, and/or to provide a credit card with enough available funds on it, Beepit may refuse you the car.
No-Show
A ‘No-show’ is when you:
- wish to cancel but don’t tell us before your rental is due to start, or
- fail to pick the car up at the arranged time and date, or
- fail to provide the documentation that’s required to pick the car up, or
- fail to provide a credit/debit card in the main driver’s name with enough available funds on it.
In all of these cases, you’ll receive no refund of the money you’ve paid.
Beepit reserves the right to refuse the car to any customer who is obviously intoxicated or impaired by drugs or alcohol and who fails to arrive on time with all necessary documentation and a credit card with enough available funds for the car’s deposit. In such a case, unless the rental has been canceled in advance, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
Amendments (changes to your booking)
You can make changes to your booking any time before you’re due to pick the car up.
If your pick-up time is at least 48 hours away, the easiest way to do this is to go to ‘View or Modify reservation’ in the reservation platform of our website.
If you need to change something when your pick-up time is less than 48 hours away, please call us instead.
We don’t charge any fees for changing your booking, but:
- any changes you make may affect the rental price
Please note: With some changes, we’ll need to cancel your booking and make a new one. The price is based on the pick-up and drop-off times that you arrange before your rental starts. If you pick the car up any later or bring it back any earlier, you will not receive a refund for unused hours or days.
If a customer needs to extend their rental or make any amendments after they have collected the car they must call at the calling center of Beepit. For changes on cover package or second driver addition the car must return to the original rental location to resign the rental agreement.
For changing pick up or drop off place please let us know at least 12 hours before.
